Musikgarten is sponsored by The Arthur Krempin School of Music & Art, based at First English. The program is a community outreach for youth music and art education.
- Musikgarten is a music and movement program that helps to nurture children’s inborn musical abilities. The program offers classes for parents and their children, from newborns through age 7. Classes meet once each week for 12 weeks.
Traci Diehl, a licensed Musikgarten instructor, says the goal of the program is to help families make music an integral part of their home.
“My goal for our Musikgarten program is to nurture our natural abilities for music and to learn to have fun with music for a lifelong love of music with the entire family,” says Diehl. “At the same time, we can expand children’s levels of social, emotional, cognitive and motor abilities.”
