Facility & Equipment Use Policy

Key Considerations:

· NO WINE, CHAMPAGNE, ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR CHEMICAL SUBSTANCES PERMITTED in the church facilities or on the church grounds.

· All church scheduled events have precedence over private events.

· Consider a donation to FELC to offset cost of repair and replacement. All fees and donations payable to First English Lutheran Church.

· Unless being used for a FELC event, tables and chairs are not available for use beyond church property.

· Facility hours available: 8 AM to !0 PM

Guidelines

North: North Site Administrator

Facility Use:

1. Use only the areas of the facility requested, plus hallways, parking and restrooms. There will likely be other activities in the same building.
2. Schedule a time to confirm set up and arrangements at least 2 days prior to scheduled use. Keys to the facility will be given at this time.
3. Keys must be returned to the office at the close of each activity.
4. At the culmination of your activity, make sure NO ONE from your group remains in the facility. Check restrooms before leaving.
5. Make sure ALL lights are turned out and the doors are locked (if applicable).
6. Leave the facility used in as good a condition as you found it.

Equipment Use:

1. Arrange for a time for pick up and return.
2. Return equipment in clean and ready to use condition.
3. Respect any condition restricting use or users.

Use Fees and Suggested Donations:

· Sanctuary and Organ/Piano:

Can be used for audio, video recording and rehearsals

Fee: $25 custodial

Fee: $25 audio/visual equipment per day (if applicable)

+Suggested Donation: facility and organ/piano use - $25 per hour

· Gathering Area Downtown Site (with Sanctuary and Kitchenette) – Maximum of 60 people

Can be used for piano, vocal, or small group recitals/receptions

Fee: $50.00 custodial

+Suggested Donation: facility use - $150

piano maintenance - $25

· Fellowship Hall/Kitchen Downtown Site– Maximum of 60 people

Can be used for: Baby and Bridal Showers, Baptism and

Confirmation meals, Groom’s Dinner, Reception

Fee: $50.00 custodial

+Suggested Donation: For use of facilities - $150

· Gathering Area/Kitchen North Site– Maximum of 60 people

Can be used for: Baby and Bridal Showers, Baptism and

Confirmation meals, Groom’s Dinner, Reception

Fee: $50.00 custodial

+Suggested Donation: For use of facilities

· Activity Center North Site – Groups larger than 50 people

Can be used for: Baby and Bridal Showers, Baptism and

Confirmation meals, Groom’s Dinner, Reception

Fee: $150 custodial

+Suggested Donation: For use of facilities - $300

· Activity Center North Site – Sports Activity

Can be used for basketball and volleyball teams supervised and coached by parent/adult (parent/adult presence required)

Fee: $25 per booking

+Suggested Donation: for use of facilities - $25 per hour

Use east side Activity Center (Gym) doors to enter and exit 1½ hour time limit per team/group, per day unless special arrangements are made

· Entire Facility

Can be used for large group meetings/events

Fee: $200 custodial

+Suggested Donation: for use of facilities: Downtown Site- $550

North Site Inside- $450

North Site Include Grounds- $550
