Important items of information:

• Discussed importance of expanding events outside the congregation. “The Big ONE: Battle Against Poverty” on Aug. 10 would be a push for Awareness about extreme poverty and HIV/AIDS issues based around the ONE campaign. The event would include either a few local youth bands playing or potentially a “Battle of the Bands.” Need a few youth to head up organizing as well as contacts with other congregations in the synod.

• In charge of KidZone at Lifest on Saturday of the festival. Have received 20 free day passes, need to find youth and adults to lead activities.

• Perhaps start Youth Board up again in summer.
