Ø      Rich Erickson is building book shelves for the library area at the NS. The library will be located just inside the office area.

Ø      John Dougherty has installed the new Yamaha Digital Mixing Console LS9 from Full Compass, Madison, WI, for $7,410.

Ø      DS Organ bellow room refurbishing nearly complete. Bill Hoffman, Central Temp, has ordered four humidistats for the bellow room: two for each humidifier. He looked into a digital display unit which would be mounted on the outside of the room, for easy monitoring. The cost of such a unit is around $600. He suggest that it be noted in Central Temps books, that whenever a Central Service call is made to FELC DS, the service person will check the bellows room.

Ø      Tabled - building security plan.

Ø      NS carport lights will be replaced for cost efficiency as the ballasts burn out.

Ø      John Notebaart will require an itemized statement from Corcoran Glass concerning the railing guard posts purchased by Corcoran Glass.

Ø      Tabled – NS LL coat hooks for children.

Ø      Committee reviewed the resumes received regarding the hiring of a maintenance person for the DS.

·        NEW BUISINESS

Ø      Two proposals, for AHU 6 at the NS, from Central Temp were addressed:

ü      Replacement of the existing motor starter due to a burned power leg connection.

ü      Installation of 3 separate dampers in the existing combustion air duct. There are no existing dampers – which has been the reason for frozen pipes on 2 different occasions.

Ø      Scott Bastein of ARL, a Boldt representative, John Notebaart and Jenell will meet at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12, to discuss leaks in the sanctuary – cupolas and flat roof.

Ø      ARL will be replacing a broken downspout at the DS.

Ø      Discussion of an e-mail received from Pastor Detweiler concerning the “greening” of facilities. Committee believes that is what we have been working on for the past two years and are continuing to monitor and upgrade as budget allows.

Ø      Committee was given information regarding the cost of replacing the platforms for the altar at the NS. This project will be tabled until funds are available.

Ø      The committee discussed bringing back the Adopt-a-Bed program for the summer. Jack’s Lawn Service will continue their services for the time being.
