Important items of information:

The
first order of the meeting was to discuss the Wed. night service and provide
our feedback.
o
Good
energy about the potential of this service/ learning opportunity.
o
Our
ministry team could provide a monthly discussion on current events.
·
We
would center our discussion on the ELCA position papers. An
example is global warming.
o
We
see this service as an opportunity to recruit volunteers –
·
Take
the interest and turn it into an action. An example is regularly running
a Salvation Army luncheon.
·
A
possible newsletter item would be the formation of the feasibility study for ECHOES.

The
goal is to make a recommendation to the church council on the July
meeting. The task force will be reviewing financials, operations and the
mission and vision of ECHOES.
