Items that may require budget/finance coordination:
• New owner of the ECHOES
rental property (increase of monthly rent @ $59/month)
• Potential van donation for
ECHOES - will require some tax investigation and insurance study. Kathy will
touch base with Jeff Bemis on the insurance side.
Other important items:
• Finance/budget review: within budget constraints at this time
• Reviewed letter by Sue Swanson (and fine-tuned by Jan Sommerfeld)
to invite other churches to be a part of the community effort to support ECHOES by
donation, volunteers or prayers. Sue will take care of the mailing. Will
contact Mo for reasonable amount of ‘correct’ brochures to mail with the
finished letter.
• Thank you to Betty Smith for making the chili for the auction and
to the team for participating at the booth. We had a good time even though we
did not win.
• Monthly calendar for marketing ECHOES was presented by Kate and
Jeff C. This is a beginning on marketing special events and setting up a
preview period for seasonal events. A sample of the articles was presented for
two of the events and was well received by the team. We will be requesting
temple talk time on the 30th for getting out the need for the next need at ECHOES.
While we are getting this marketing plan in place, we may have a need to
increase the temple talks (maybe two or three per year?)

D. will be meeting with the new landlords in early April to discuss options.
