Outreach & Social Ministry Team minutes

Important items of information:

• Will be soliciting volunteers using the Time & Talent process – scheduled two orientation dates: 4/1/2008 6:30 p.m. at ECHOES and 4/6/2008 1-2 p.m. at ECHOES.
• Still need to meet with the property managers regarding our lease.
• Sue Swanson will be preparing a mailing to other churches in our synod advising them of ECHOES and how they could support by donations, volunteering and purchasing.
• Discussed establishing a calendar year marketing campaign with dates to solicit and sell certain items. Suggestions were Back to School/College, Halloween etc.
• Jeff Bemis and Kathy Hoffman will be meeting with the emergency shelter to determine how we could support each agency.
