Important items of information:

Karen gave an update on parish nursing and had the following ideas that she would need supplies for:

· Building a health library: Needs: racks for magazines, informational collateral, such as books, brochures, etc.; also talked about getting mini brochures like those at St. Elizabeth’s on different health-related topics; and starting a new mom’s program.

· General update on people using the parish nurse for blood pressure screenings, etc.

· Discussion on other aspects of the budget:

1. Stephen Ministry: Plan for this year is to gather all the informational material needed for meetings to gather interest and start the program this time next year.
2. Change “Aging Services” to “50+” and add monies for that part of the budget. This money could be used to help subsidize the cost of bus trips, etc.
3. Focus for 2008 is continuing to build programs put in place this year.
4. See budget form for other requested money allocations for areas that fall into Congregational Life.
