Welcome to Jill Gretzinger, new on the Learning Ministry Team

Important items of information:

Report on the February forum with "The Lutheran" editor, Daniel Lehmann. Approved spending $400 for 50 copies of The Lutheran magazine to be made available for study groups and individuals in the church libraries. Consider some sections for youth discussions too.

Previewed "The LIttle Lutheran,", a new publication for preschool-6 year olds Subscriptions begin with the July/August issue. 10 issues/year for $24.95 at

www.thelittlelutheran.org.

Approved $300 budget for the Advent Brunch.

Lenten Study, “A Life With Purpose,” is being well received. For April, please read chapter 4 and we’ll discuss the question, “How do we encourage greater participation in lifelong learning?”

CHART Congregational Historical Archive and Recording Team – Barry and Peter will help with calls to the 20 longtime FELC members to invite to the team. Also open to all, not just long time members.

The Aug. 6-9 VBS curriculum, Great Bible Reef, is from Augsburg. The Task Force will meet in April.

Mil Herder will list some of the missing library books in the April newsletter. If they aren’t returned, some may be replaced.
