Important items of information:

· Welcome Hollie Holtebeck, our new LMT member

· New task force: Vacation Bible School

· FELC selected by Augsburg to test new SS curriculum, Spark Active Faith. Will be tested in classrooms two weeks in May for preschool-Grade 6. Has a preschool and children’s Bible with the curriculum. Future goal of giving a preschool Bible to children just as we give 3^rd grade children a Bible.

· Andy Moscinski will start to develop a survey to get parent feedback on Sunday School regarding curriculum; times learning is offered; attendance.

· Summer brochure will be available online next week

· How to cover budget cuts – consider asking for needed SS supplies with slips on a Christmas giving tree; small fee for VBS this year;

· LMT newsletter spotlight—Testimonial from teacher/teacher recruitment

· For further discussion Penny Harvest with SS saving pennies to help others
