Important items of information:

• Discussed and finalized plans for teacher appreciation pancake breakfast on Feb.15.
• New ministry team will organize to promote Opening the Book of Faith initiative. Workshop on Book of Faith initiative is March 28 in Tomahawk.
• Evaluated positive and negatives of the first “bring your parent to Sunday School” event held for students in Grades 1-3 and their parents. There was good participation with many positive comments. We’ll duplicate effort with remaining elementary and preschool grades.
• Lenten study book is being ordered — turnaround time to get books is slower due to printing on demand so we will be conservative in numbers ordered to prevent overstock.
• Donna shared sample curriculums for Grade 1-3 rotation. While it takes staff a lot of time initially to put them together, over time it pays off in curriculum costs.
• LMT newsletter spotlight — Easter program DS Grades 4-6; April preschool parent visit opportunity.
• Thanks to Barry for his work on the Learning Ministry Team!
• March meeting will start at 6:15 p.m. in the Library.
