Items that may require budget/finance coordination: 2009 budget: The team reviewed the financial statement and developed next year’s budget. Bob will complete and e-mail to Brenda by Nov. 21 bsmongeski@felc.com

Important items of information:

• North Site welcome host reminder postcards: The team reviewed the content of the current reminder cards that are mailed to North Site welcome hosts. The general consensus was that the instructions – an overview of the welcome host role – are very helpful. The team recommended the following copy changes: Under “Key points to remember” include a reminder that hosts should stand next to the main entrance before the beginning of worship services. Replace “Stand next to the pastor after the service in the receiving line” with “After the service, follow up with the visitors you met before the service.” The team also discussed the advantages of including key points to the postcards that are sent to Downtown Site welcome hosts, particularly with the new welcoming team concept.
• Annual report: Dale will write.
• Welcome team job description: Rich shared the first draft of the descriptive roles for our future welcome team and requested feedback. Rich will revise and forward to the pastors.
