Important items of information:

Testimonials: The team discussed incorporating audio testimonial clips on various pages of our Web site from members who want to share the story of their faith journey. Logistics of how and where these digital files will be created also were addressed. Suggestions: Perhaps folks can speak into the microphone at the North Site, where MP3 files can be created by the digital soundboard; those who know how to record their voices on their computers can send the files to Jan; perhaps folks can use the church’s voice mail system to record testimonials (Jan is doubtful, but will check into it).

ELCA conference advertisement: The team reviewed an ad in which FELC is included among other ELCA churches. Pastor Detweiler explained that he recently discovered that this ad is funded by what was formerly conference dues, as part of the advertising budget for First English. The consensus at the conference annual meeting was that the ad should be sent back to the committee.

Name tags: Bob shared with the team the importance of name tags in developing fellowship during events outside of worship. The team agreed that it would be helpful if all small groups would make our FELC name tags available for participants at all fellowship activities. Jan will double-check our inventory.

Welcome center: Two members have expressed interest in participating in the conception of the welcome center.

Ministries guide: 600 copies are being printed. Cost: $1,294.
