Important items of information:

North Site Development Team Update: Focus Groups are underway—two have been held so far, one at each site. Diane Luxhoj is facilitating these Focus Groups. Feedback has been very interesting. Two more are planned at the North Site and two more at the Downtown Site. Dan Baumbach needs help recruiting Downtown Site members—Jen, Jan, Bob, Gary and Jeff will help with this and get the names to Dan.

January New Member Session Update: 89 new members joined, representing 28 families—14 from the Downtown Site and 14 from the North Site. The sessions went well, with some good feedback. The next session will be tweaked a bit more.

Welcome Host Update: Jack Swanson has agreed to serve as the lead for the Downtown Site. Rick Sather and Dan Baumbach will assist him in getting up to speed in this role. We will also be purchasing new nametags for the Welcome Hosts to include the new logo.

Ministry Team Membership Update: We welcomed Jen Wageman to our Ministry Team. Two other members have expressed interest to join us in 2007. 

2007 Advertising Budget and Process Update: Jan wasn’t able to get Yellow Pages quotes. She will have this for the next meeting and we can take action on whether or not to cut back or remove color from our advertising. She also shared the new Web site Directory for businesses.

Permanent Nametags for Members Update: Discussion was held on the pros and cons of having permanent nametags. The big issues were cost and having a place to store them. It was also noted that we might be singling out visitors and guests. We certainly wish to continue promoting nametag usage, but aren’t ready to pursue permanent nametags at this point.

Welcome Brochure Update: Jan shared our new Welcome Brochure that will be available on both Welcome Tables along with usage in New Member Packs and the Intern Door Drops.

Next New Member Class Update: Mark your calendars for the next New Member Class.
