The Gathering –

Attendance has been low but has been a good small-group ministry

Goal for next year is to find ways to get more people there

April 19 will be last one until September as Bob Whitton will be needed to lead music for Wednesday night services.

Task forces –

• Andy planning 2 task forces: Christian Education Task Force and Confirmation Task Force. Confirmation Task Force will meet 4/21 at 6:15 with small group leaders attending. Will reviewing confirmation as is and making changes in structure.

• Discussed the worship service on confirmation Wednesdays – asked youth in meeting what they thought. The youth at the meeting and the 8^th-grade youth didn’t like Holden Evening Prayer and preferred when the worship was more fun.

• Looking at outreach as alternative to service sometimes.

• Looking to have joint meeting with learning and worship to discuss confirmation and Wed. Worship.

Interns –

• 10 interns will start June 1.

• Had to turn 4 away. Interviews were conducted by Andy Moscinski and volunteers: John Dougherty, Dan and Trent Baumbach and Kristy Howard.

• Andy is planning on taking the interns to the Synod Assembly to hear Dave Daubert speak on June 4 in Green Bay.

• John shared how great the intern process for interviews was this year. It allowed us to define what FELC is looking for in their interns and he felt the process was a good one for the interns to go through.

National Youth Gathering

• Meeting Sunday, April 19 after the Gathering

• Meri Hujet suggested that JR Grawe come to the meeting to talk with the attendees about what to expect.

• Meri also suggested that since they are looking for one more female chaperone that they ask JR or someone more experienced to join the chaperones.

Hospitality Coordinator –

• Ross suggested that the MT look for a member of the group to be the hospitality coordinator. The person would be responsible for sending thank you notes to all volunteers for this MT. It was suggested to ask Annette Ford to see if she would be interested.

Evans Scholarships

• Deadline is May 18.

• MT will meet on May 19 to discuss instead of next MT scheduled for May 12 the regularly scheduled meeting.
