Important items of information:

• Information and registration for the National Youth Gathering (New Orleans, July 2009) will be distributed soon. A task force comprised of parents of students who plan to attend the Gathering will be set up to handle logistics. The deadline for registration is Aug. 1, 2008.
• John Dougherty will lead a high school youth Boundary Waters canoe trip this summer. Tentative date is 7/27 - 8/2.
• Discussed Crossways Ministries’ desire to build a stronger relationship with the youth and families of FELC. They have donated a couple of summer camp certificates for the Chili Cook-off & Silent Auction and will have a presence at the event.
